4 Things to Love About the 2024 Mazda3 Sedan

Image via Mazda

It's not every day you come across a luxury-looking sedan with punchy performance and premium features at an affordable price. The 2024 Mazda3 Sedan is all that and more, blending style and comfort into one irresistible package. There are so many things to love about the new Mazda3, but here are our favorite ones.

1. Powerful and Efficient Engines

The new Mazda3 Sedan comes with a choice of two capable and efficient engine options. The base engine is a 2.5L four-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain generates 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. FWD comes standard, and fuel economy is rated at 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.

A 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder is available in the Turbo trims. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, this engine produces up to 250 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The turbo engine returns 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. AWD is available across the lineup, and you can also get a manual transmission.

2. Well-Refined Interior

One of our favorite features of the Mazda3 is the well-refined, stylish cabin. Premium materials abound, with a ton of standard and optional features to choose from across the lineup. The sedan seats five, and there is ample legroom and headroom even for taller passengers. Cloth seats come as standard, but you can get leather seats in higher trim levels.

A spacious front center console provides lots of storage for everyday essentials, and there are beverage holders on both rows. Available comfort features include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat. An available power, sliding-glass moonroof lets in fresh air and bathes the cabin with natural light.

3. Intuitive Infotainment System

The Mazda3's infotainment technology is crafted to make every drive fun and memorable. A standard 8.8-inch full-color center display comes paired with a six-speaker audio system. You can connect to the display through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and stream your favorite content. Bluetooth audio streaming is also enabled.

Moving up to the Turbo trims will get you a larger 10.3-inch display, a 12-speaker audio system, and extras like SiriusXM and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The available head-up display projects important vehicle data to the windshield, so you can keep your eyes on the road.

4. Advanced Safety Features

Mazda's i-Activsense comes as standard equipment in the new Mazda3. It offers technologies such as blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, front collision mitigation, and driver attention monitoring. Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors, a rear collision mitigation system, and a backup camera with a 360-degree view.

The latest Mazda3 has an extensive lineup of six main trims, which makes it easy to pick out your favorite features. Visit us today at Bommarito Mazda West County in Ellisville, MO, and we'll set you up with a test drive!
