Excellent Range and Fuel Economy

Running on gasoline alone, the ICE achieves an impressive fuel economy of 24 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. The 2.5L four-cylinder engine produces 189 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque and partners with a permanent-magnet electric motor to produce a combined 323 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. On its own, the electric motor produces 173 hp and 199 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain allows the CX-90 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds.

A 17.8-kWh battery pack powers the electric motor during EV mode and gives the CX-90 a range of 25 miles. Combined with the ICE, the SUV diminishes your carbon footprint with an outstanding 56 MPGe.

Ergonomic and Luxurious Cabin Design

By default, the SUV seats eight in three rows. Heated front bucket seats with 8-way power adjustment for the driver and 4-way for the passenger are standard. The second row gets a foldable split bench and a folding center armrest, but you can opt for two captain’s chairs if you want added comfort (and lowered seating capacity), and the 3rd row gets a 60-40 bench with head restraints.

The cabin is sure to impress with its use of high-quality materials for several surfaces. Premium leather covers the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, and door trim on the base model. On the Premium Plus trim, you get upgraded Nappa leather seat trims and a heated leather steering wheel.

Ample Cargo Space

Even with all seats occupied, the CX-90 can store plenty of luggage in its rear cargo hold. The power liftgate rises to reveal an illuminated 14.9 cubic feet of cargo storage space, which can be upgraded with a retractable cargo cover and cargo blocks. If you need more space, there are 40 cubic feet of cargo space with the third row folded, and 74.2 cubic feet with the second row folded.

Advanced Infotainment System

For entertainment and playing music on road trips, the CX-90 comes with an easy-to-use infotainment system, featuring a large 10.3-inch touchscreen with integrated Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and an 8-speaker audio system. On the Premium Plus trim, you can enjoy a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity and a Bose 12-speaker audio system.
