2.5 S
The base 2.5 S comes with a 2.5L SKYACTIV-G four-cylinder engine that gets 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with a six-speed auto and front-wheel drive and returns 31 mpg combined (28 city/37 highway). 2.5 S is equipped with LED headlights, remote keyless entry with push-button ignition, and a cloth interior with sport seats.
The highlight of the cabin is an 8.8-inch full-color center display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration and Bluetooth connectivity. It is paired with a 6-speaker stereo system. You also get a Mazda Connected Services subscription that offers a Wi-Fi hotspot, remote lock and unlock, remote engine start, vehicle finder, and many more features.
2.5 S Select Sport
2.5 S Select upgrades the exterior with 18-inch wheels and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Inside, you get leather-trimmed sport seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard as well. On the safety front, the 2.5 S Select Sport adds blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert to prevent rear-end collisions.
2.5 S Preferred
Moving up, the 2.5 S Preferred makes drives cozy with heated front seats and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings. There’s a power sliding moonroof that gives the cabin an airy ambiance.
2.5 S Carbon Edition
The 2.5 S Carbon Edition brings more capability to the Mazda3 lineup. It carries over the base engine and transmission but comes standard with all-wheel drive for enhanced traction. The leather interior has metal-look accents on the door panels, console, and instrument panel. This model also gets an 8-speaker sound system and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
2.5 Carbon Turbo
The 2.5 Carbon Turbo trim is a new addition to the Mazda3 lineup. It comes with a 2.5L turbo-four engine that makes 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with a six-speed auto and all-wheel drive. This model gets a tech upgrade with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display and has leatherette-trimmed seats.
2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
At the top of the lineup is the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus, which carries over the powertrain and tech of the 2.5 Carbon Turbo trim. It is equipped with premium amenities like signature LED headlights, LED combination taillights, and a leather-trimmed interior. It also gets a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system. Parking is a breeze with the 360-degree view monitor and front and rear parking sensors.
