This feature scans for that particular hazard whenever you approach an intersection at a lower speed, applying the brakes if necessary. Smart Brake Support - Turn Across Traffic Turning left takes your car across the traffic of another lane. This feature scans for oncoming vehicles in that lane, applying the brakes to help you avoid potential cross-traffic collisions. It works at any speed from zero to highway speeds, taking the strain of driving off your hands for a while in all kinds of road environments. The 2025 Mazda3 vs. the 2025 Mazda CX-30: Sedan vs. Subcompact SUV

Both the 2025 Mazda3 sedan and 2025 Mazda CX-30 SUV are excellent options for getting around the city. Both are compact, efficient, agile, and comfortable. Today, your local Mazda dealership will take a closer look at these vehicles to help you decide which one is best suited for you. Your Mazda Dealership Compares the 2025 Mazda3 Sedan vs. 2025 Mazda CX-30 SUV Performance Both vehicles use Mazda's SKYACTIV-G 2.5L four-cylinder engine as standard. Its power output is 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, and it pairs with a six-speed automatic in both the Mazda3 and CX-30. An optional 2.5L turbocharged inline-four produces up to 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque with premium fuel. The Mazda3 comes with front-wheel drive by default, while all-wheel drive is available on select trims such as the 2.5 S Carbon Edition. The CX-30, on the other hand, comes standard with i-ACTIV AWD across all trim levels. While both vehicles have strong fuel economy, the Mazda3 comes out on top, with 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway in FWD models with the base engine. more Interior and Cargo Both vehicles feature a driver-focused cockpit with an optimized drive position and premium materials. Cloth upholstery is standard, but both have available leather-trimmed seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel in most trims. The CX-30 offers a heated steering wheel and auto-dimming rearview mirror in upper trims. Both vehicles have similar passenger space; the Mazda3 with 93 total cubic feet and CX-30 with 94 cubic feet. This makes the CX-30 an ideal option for those requiring more cargo room for travel or equipment. Technology The Mazda3 and CX-30 have similar technology packages. Both include an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard in lower trims, while Turbo trims feature a 10.25-inch display. These features include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind Sport Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist. The 2025 Mazda3 and 2025 CX-30 share a lot of the same features, including powertrains, technology, and design languages. 4 Reasons to Get Financing Through Your Mazda Dealership

Your local Mazda dealership is a great place for a lot of things. You can get service for your Mazda, buy a new car, sell your old vehicle, and even secure car financing. When you seek financing through the dealership, you're giving yourself the opportunity to enjoy numerous benefits, including convenience, unlimited choice, and special offers that you won't find elsewhere. more 1. The Fast and Convenient Process Financing a car through your local dealer is really convenient. The process starts online, where you can apply for preapproval. This allows you to see if you'll be able to get a loan before you go to the dealer and start shopping for your new vehicle. The dealer sends your application to multiple lenders, so you only have to fill it out once. From there, the process is pretty streamlined if you're approved for a loan, and you only have to make one trip to the dealer. 2. The Access to Special Offers Special promotional offers crop up at the dealer now and then. These offers can allow buyers with excellent credit to access car financing with 0% APR. So, if you have a high credit score and a fantastic, clean credit history, you should always check if there are any promotional offers running at the dealership. 3. The Unlimited Choice When you finance your car through our dealership, you can pretty much buy any car we have on our lot. The only thing restricting you is your budget. We always have a wide range of models available, so you're really spoiled for choice when you shop at our dealership and finance through us. However, when you finance through a bank, you may not have such a wide range of choices. Banks usually have pre-existing relationships with certain dealerships, and when you finance through that bank, you may be required to pick a car from one of those dealerships. There's no guarantee any dealerships the bank works with will have the car you want on their lot, so choosing a car and then financing through your dealer of choice is the best way to make sure you get what you want. 4. The Opportunity to Get a Loan If You Have Poor Credit If you have a low credit score or a poor credit history, then it may be difficult to qualify for a loan when you seek one from a credit union or bank. However, dealerships regularly work with people who don't have a great credit history or a very high credit score, so you may get a loan through a dealer when you can't get one elsewhere. Come to Bommarito Mazda West County in Ellisville, MO to get your financing today. You can easily apply for preapproval through our website.

Honoring a Visionary: Frank Bommarito's Enduring Impact

January marks a significant month for our team as we remember Frank Bommarito, the esteemed founder of the Bommarito Automotive Group, on the first anniversary of his passing. Frank's life was a tapestry of hard work, innovative thinking, and an unwavering dedication to his community. This commemoration is a tribute to a man whose contributions have profoundly shaped the automotive industry in Missouri and set a standard for excellence and integrity. more The Early Years: Building a Foundation Frank Bommarito's automotive career began with humble roots at McMahon Pontiac, where he started by undercoating cars and working as a car porter and jockey. His dedication and hard work, coupled with his time in the US Navy where he received a Golden Glove award for boxing, laid the groundwork for his future success. Upon returning from the Navy, Frank continued his career at McMahon Pontiac in 1954, eventually climbing the ladder to sales and then on to management at Vincel Pontiac. His dream of being a new car dealer materialized in 1971 when General Motors handed him an Oldsmobile dealer in Ellisville, MO, marking the start of what would become the Bommarito Automotive Group. Under Frank's stewardship, Bommarito Oldsmobile not only became Missouri's largest Oldsmobile dealership but also maintained its status among the nation's top ten. But his initial success was not confined to a single brand; it was merely a springboard for expansion--each new venture was marked by Frank's signature blend of tenacity and foresight, as seen in the enduring success of Bommarito Mazda in Ellisville as the largest Missouri Mazda dealer for over 17 of their 43 years of operation. His vision encompassed the St. Louis Metro area, elevating the North County Nissan in Hazelwood to the status of Missouri's largest volume Nissan dealership. Extending further into West County, the establishment of Bommarito Buick GMC and Bommarito INFINITI in Ellisville continue to reinforce the Bommarito name as a significant cornerstone in Missouri's automotive history. Sustaining Impact and Growth The transition of leadership to his son, John Bommarito, in 1998, was a seamless passing of the torch. This period saw significant expansions and acquisitions, including the introduction of new brands like Pontiac, Suzuki, Buick, Honda, and Volkswagen, each reflecting the group's commitment to diversity and customer choice. Even after handing over the reins of the Bommarito Automotive Group to John, Frank's influence remained a guiding force. The group's expansion under John's leadership, bringing the group total to 20 franchises and locations in every St. Louis neighborhood, continued to reflect Frank's vision and principles. Frank's ethos, centered around hard work and community service, was instilled in the group's over 1000 team members, ensuring that his legacy of being Missouri's #1 Auto Dealer and a top national dealership endured. The Bommarito Auto Group's growth was not about adding brands for the sake of notoriety; it was about creating a legacy that car buyers could rely on for life—Frank’s vision of having "a vehicle in our portfolio for every type of buyer" bloomed into a lifetime family mission that has become revered by the community today, with John's continued dedication in the business reflecting Frank's tenacity in which so many have been inspired by. A Fulfilling Life Beyond the Family Business Frank's life was rich and multifaceted, extending well beyond his professional achievements. He was known for his heartfelt generosity and his belief that giving someone a job was the best form of help a person could offer. He’s remembered as an accomplished Gin Rummy and Poker player, and he deeply cherished his weekly gatherings with friends, whom he affectionately nicknamed his "Cronies." He also had a well-known passion for writing which led him to author a weekly column in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for over a decade, sharing his business insights and personal experiences as a well-versed entrepreneur during the recession of 2008. In 2015, he was honored as the Time Dealer of the Year for his community contributions, and his alma mater, St. Mary’s High School, was named in his honor. Frank's legacy lives on through his family, including his beloved wife Lisa, his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his beloved (and cleverly named) dogs, Sinatra, Deano, Bishop, and Pavé. As we commemorate the first anniversary of Frank Bommarito's passing, we reflect on a legacy that has truly transcended the automotive industry. His journey from a car washer to a revered industry leader is a narrative of resilience, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to the community he so deeply cared for. Frank Bommarito's story is not just about cars--it's about the indelible mark he left on the St. Louis Metro area and the countless lives he touched along the way. His legacy, carried forward by both his family and the Bommarito Auto Group, continues to drive forward, fueled by the same principles that Frank held dear. In remembering Frank, we celebrate a life that was truly driven by passion, vision, and an enduring commitment to excellence.

Want to Stay Safe? Get a 2019 CX-9

If you're in the market for a midsize, three-row SUV, the 2019 Mazda CX-9 offers a spacious, stylish, and refined option. But as well as looking at its practicality and versatility, you also want to know that your family is safe on the road. The CX-9 was previously a Top Safety Pick, but the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has given it an improved safety rating of Top Safety Pick + making it one of the safest vehicles in its class. Here we take a look at the tests and the CX-9's safety features. IIHS Testing The IIHS test assesses all areas of a vehicle's safety and assigns ratings of good, acceptable, marginal, or poor or, for some tests, superior, advanced, or basic. All of the 2019 CX-9 models achieved the highest rating of “good” for all aspects of crash testing including side and roof strength and the dynamics of the seats and head restraints. Improvements to the headlights earned a “good” rating for the Grand Touring and Signature trim levels which feature curve adaptive LED projector headlights with high beam assist. The available frontal collision prevention system also received the top rating of “superior.” more Passive Safety Features For passenger safety, the CX-9 has driver and front passenger air bags, front side air bags, and side head curtain air bags. All seats have three-point seat belts with pre-tensioners and height adjustment. Front and rear crumple zones absorb the energy of an impact, while the door beams protect the cabin from a side impact. Children are protected by the child safety locks which prevent the risk of your kids opening the doors accidentally and potentially falling out of the car. The lower anchors and tethers for children (LATCH) system enables the secure and safe installation of child seats. Driver Assistance Features For confident handling, the CX-9 has a vehicle stability control system and traction control, while hill launch assist prevents the car rolling backwards when pulling away on an incline. Assured stopping is aided by the four-wheel anti-lock braking system with front and rear disc brakes, electronic brake assistance, and smart city brake support. Also standard are forward obstruction warning, a blind spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic warning, a tire inflation monitor, and a rear-view camera. In the event of an accident, the infotainment system features E911 automatic emergency notification to ensure that help is on the way. Touring trim adds automatic headlights with auto high beams, rain-sensing wipers, radar cruise control with stop and go, lane departure alert, lane keep assist, advanced automatic emergency brake support with pedestrian detection, and an automatic dimming rear-view mirror. Grand Touring models offer LED front fog lights, traffic sign recognition, a 360-degree surround view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and a windshield wiper de-icer. Buying a 2019 Mazda CX-9 will give you the confidence that you will be driving one of the safest SUVs on the road. 4 Features that Make the 2019 MX-5 Miata a Top Choice

When you purchase a convertible, you want a car that speeds around corners and leaps from the starting line. You want to feel the rush of fresh air when you take the top down. These are the reasons why so many people choose the Mazda MX-5 Miata as their convertible of choice. It's fast, fun, and full of features that remind you why buying a convertible is the best decision you ever made. Weight Balance Vehicles tend to weigh more in the front or the back depending on their design. For example, pickup trucks are front-heavy when they're empty but balance out once you add cargo or a trailer. Sports cars like the 2019 MX-5 Miata, on the other hand, work best with a 50-50 balance that helps you stay in control when you take a high-speed turn. To that end, Mazda engineers designed the Miata to be slightly back-heavy, but when you sit in the driver's seat, the weight balances out. Weight Reduction Sports car designs either focus on eliminating weight or adding power. The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata is designed to be lightweight, so although its engine only has four cylinders, this sports car makes the most of its horsepower. Speaking of which, the 2019 model comes with a brand-new 2.0-liter SKYACTIV engine manufactured with aluminum alloy instead of heavy steel. Even though this engine doesn't have a turbo, it manages to deliver 181 horsepower, more than its 2018 predecessor. more Easy Top The 2019 MX-5 Miata's roof is easy for anyone to take down and put up. Just push a button, pull a lever, and push the roof back until it clicks. To put the roof up, you pull another lever and then pull the top forward until it clicks. Even though this system is low-tech, Mazda's engineers chose this simple design because an automatic system would add extra weight. However, if you want an automatic roof, the Miata RF hardtop has one that retracts electronically. High-Tech Interior The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata might be on a diet, but it still has room for a powerful audio system. The top Grand Touring trim comes with a nine-speaker Bose audio system and speed-sensing audio, not to mention a 7-inch touch screen with MAZDA CONNECT, turn-by-turn navigation, four months of SiriusXM Radio, HD Radio, internet radio apps, and a text message audio delivery and reply system. The Mazda Miata is one of the most popular convertibles on the market, and while part its popularity is due to its affordable price tag, it's also because the MX-5 is a fun car to drive. That goes double after you pull the top down and find a winding country road to explore. Of course, if you've never experienced the feeling first hand, you should schedule a test drive at your local Mazda dealership as soon as you can.  Once you're driving down the highway with the wind in your hair, you'll know you made the right choice. Is the 2019 Mazda Miata MX-5 RF Right for You?

The 2019 Mazda Miata MX-5 RF is right for any driver who not only wants a convertible but also wants a quiet ride when the top is up. The RF or retractable fastback gives the Miata a sleeker look and blocks out more of the road noise than the soft top version. For 2019, the RF has an updated engine with some extra power, some added safety features, and the steering wheel will now telescope. Options The RF comes in two different trim levels. The Club comes with LED headlights, and if you choose the manual transmission, it has Bilstein dampers, the option for upgraded Brembo front brakes and BBS wheels. Bumping up to the Grand Touring model gets you adaptive headlights, and removes the performance features that come with the Club. If you want to add the performance features back, get the manual transmission and opt for the GT-S package which also comes with a black painted roof. more Performance The 2019 Miata MX-5 RF has an updated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that now gets 181 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque and will now rev up to 7,500 rpm. It comes with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. This roadster shines when you take it on twisting back roads, it is fun to drive, and it has a surprisingly comfortable suspension. It is also quieter than previous Miatas and most other convertibles. Technology The Miata has a 7-inch display screen for the infotainment system which comes with a console-mounted rotary control knob. It also has a nine-speaker Bose stereo system that includes speakers in the headrests so you can still hear the music when you put the top down. The Club comes with satellite radio, and both trims have two USB ports along with cruise control and audio buttons mounted on the steering wheel. It also comes with voice controls so you can place phone calls and choose your music without taking your hands off the wheel. Cabin The Club model comes with heated cloth seats, while the Grand Touring model will get you heated leather seats. This higher trim will also add a cloth-lined top, and automatic climate control. If you add the Brembo/BBS/Recaro package to the Club, it comes with heated Recaro bucket seats. New for 2019, both models now have a tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Safety Both the Club and the Grand Touring models come standard with a rearview camera. The Club trim offers the option for the i-ActiveSense package which adds lane departure warning and a forward collision warning system with low-speed automatic emergency braking, while these come standard with the Grand Touring model. You can also get a blind-spot warning system with rear cross-traffic alert with the Grand Touring. The 2019 Mazda Miata RF is fun to look at and fun to drive. The bump up in horsepower adds to the fun, while the upgraded clutch and shifter make this an excellent choice for drivers who enjoy the feel of a manual. Image via mazdausa.com.
