With many Mazda SUVs out there to choose from, how do you know which one is perfect for your lifestyle? Here’s an overview of the SUVs from Mazda and what they can offer you.
Mazda CX-3
The Mazda SUV CX-3 is a powerful ride, yet more compact than other SUVs. It has 148 horsepower, an estimated 34 mpg on the highway, and a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine. Torque is a stellar 146 pound-feet.
It is designed in an elegant fashion, having been inspired by the luxurious Japanese Kodo design. Available in Soul Red Crystal Metallic paint, it’s a car that is meant to inspire as well as relax in. The inside of the vehicle is luxurious and simple, beautifully assembled with soft colors that blend. A lux suede trim creates a homey feel. The cabin has been designed to dampen noise and create a quiet atmosphere.
Despite the great aesthetic experience of the car, it is also very practical, with an easy-release rear seat that folds down, offering up more cabin space for belongings — up to 44.5 cubic feet of room. Opt for the Sport mode in the Drive Selection console to improve acceleration. It will help you kick it up a notch when changing lanes or when needing to quickly merge. Mazda CX-5
The Mazda CX-5 is a larger vehicle and crossover SUV that received excellent ratings from Kelley Blue Book. It boasts an estimated 31 mpg on the highway and 187 horsepower.
The CX-5 Signature model is made of premium materials, with nappa leather seats and a layered wood trim. There is a black cloth headliner and a beautifully stitched leather-wrapped steering wheel. Lighting is atmospheric and pleasant. The CX-5 offers excellent technology, with Apple CarPlay integration and Android Auto. Active driving display is available, showing you the highlights of your driving right on your windshield, including safety warnings, vehicle status, speed, and instructions.
Thanks to Skyactiv dynamics, you can enjoy a smooth, comfortable drive. The system will monitor power delivery, shifting weight and allowing you to drive with less effort.
Mazda CX-9
The Mazda CX-9 three-row SUV is the largest and most compatible with larger groups. With an estimated 26 mpg on the highway, the car boasts seven-person seating and lots of space. The CX-9 offers excellent technology with advanced smartphone Integration. The interior is of a premium level, much like the others in its class. Aluminum highlights on the dashboard add a flavor of luxury and precision.
It also has Skyactiv Vehicle Dynamics with G-Vectoring Control. There is high torque offered at lower RPMs — estimated as 310 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm.
